Some of the questions we get are:
- “Is it worth doing an overhaul on the site since I’m in a business-to-business market and not retail?”
- “I already have a site and it has all my information, so why do I need something fancier?”

The quick answer to these questions is: Yes. You always need to be updating and enhancing your website because it is your number one salesperson. And no matter what businesses you’re in, you need to be selling and making sure you’re being found and heard.

Your website is one of your most important business assets. In many cases, it’s the first impression a potential customer will have of your brand. If the look and feel of the site doesn’t line up with your current target audience and your current messaging, it’s time to update it so it does.
In fact, you should know that a website is never done. You should be regularly testing your content. Does adding “Careers” to your main navigation improve your recruitment? Can your customers easily find the “Request for Samples” button? Regularly looking at analytics will help you find ways to continually improve your website.
Technology is always changing. Web browsers are being updated. New phones, tablets and watches are being introduced. What worked well when you launched your site might not work well in a few months.
Your business changes. Maybe the key service you thought was the most important isn’t anymore. Your business isn’t static. Your website shouldn’t be, either.
