Just think about how things were done 20 years ago. Most people only received 100 emails per week and did most of their talking on a land line. Today, we get thousands of emails per week and that's not even including messaging apps we use. In fact, this year alone, there have been 4 billion downloads of messaging apps and counting.
With this new technology, 2 out of 3 people consume information through social media. From these sources, Facebook users watch 8 billion videos everyday. On Snapchat, it's 10 billion!
